At STC, large is the smallest way to describe us. We design and build machines up to 500 tons, deliver worldwide from our home base in Coevorden, and go big on commitment, safety, quality, and collaboration. With innovation and sustainability at our core, together with our partners we create powerful solutions that last.

Large is the smallest summary of STC
First, of course, because we make machines and machine parts that are large. Really large! We build and modify machines with a mass of up to 500 tons. Our sales are also large. Although we operate from a relatively small town of Coevorden in The Netherlands, our machines are located all over the world. They are used in demolition, recycling and infrastructure sectors.

Our commitment to our customers is large. We really want to understand what you are looking for. To provide the most appropriate advice for one of our standard solutions. And if it is the best option, we offer a tailor-made solution.

Our sense of safety is large. Based on a strong intrinsic motivation, we only want to deliver products and projects that meet all safety requirements.

The operators must be safe when they work with our machines. The machines themselves must work safely on the construction site. We achieve this by using safety as a starting point throughout the entire process from engineering to installation. We assess our suppliers on the safety of their products and processes. Safety in our own workshop is of course also an important priority.

Our eye for quality is large. We pay attention to quality throughout the entire process from designing to delivery and we work in a standardized manner as much as possible to deliver predictable quality. We also expect this from our suppliers, and we judge them on that. Our focus on quality ensures a long lifespan for the products we supply. This way you can deliver continuous quality in your work.

STC is large in collaborating with partners. We give our suppliers and customers something and we expect the same in return. That is the only basis for a long and future-proof relationship.

The commitment of our employees is large. As a family business, we have an informal environment, and employees are given a lot of freedom and responsibility at the same time. There is room for your own initiative. We do everything to ensure that our employees enjoy their time at STC. Our customers see this in the delivered machines.

Our Social involvement is also large. We are closely involved with local and regional educational institutions. We are happy to offer internships to enthusiastic students who are curious and willing to roll up their sleeves. In addition, we produce more energy ourselves than we consume, making the production of the machines energy-neutral!

Sustainability at STC
STC Solutions is working step by step towards a more sustainable and efficient production method. We do this in a down-to-earth and practical way, without big words, but with real improvements. A key example is that we generate a large portion of our own electricity with nearly 1,000 solar panels at our location. We also use residual heat from nearby businesses to heat the building, eliminating the need for a gas connection.

We design and build machines with a long lifespan. By building modularly and keeping parts readily available, machines can be more easily maintained, overhauled, or modified. This significantly extends their uptime and prevents unnecessary replacements and material waste. We also reduce waste in our own production by using raw materials as efficiently as possible and recycling residual flows as much as possible.

Sustainability at STC means more than just making green choices; it also means working smarter and more consciously. By generating energy, utilizing residual heat, extending the life of machines, and limiting waste, we reduce our environmental impact and increase the quality and reliability of our products. This is how we build a future-proof organization that is ready for the demands of tomorrow.
